Wii launch surprised me... **PIC**

i was surprised how many people were in line for wii... there were 20 people in front of us, and this is the line behind us....

waited 5 hrs for the system... aaand, mine was defective....

Friend and I went Wii hunting last night (he had a preorder but wanted to see if he could get one early). No luck at all, every place had a LONG line of campers. Almost wanted to yell that they had PS3s in stock too at one Walmart line we passed...
 
There's Defective Wii's?

First time I've heard of Nintendo launching a faulty product (because they're too pussy to push the envelope).

Anyway here's the line at TRU as of 9:30 I got on at the back and still got a ticket in addition to my pre-order.
 
Yeah, I noticed pretty long lines

30 people in line at walmart for 22 Wii's (Midnight Release, this was at 7:30)
100+ in line at target for 120 at Target (8:00AM Open, 8:30 at night)
15 in line at target (diff) for 51 units (8:00AM; 9:30 at night).
