looks good....but is it going to be backed by Nintendo?

For example I was reading that the cooler thing for the XBox isn't backed by Microsoft and if ruins your XBox it voids the warranty. I'd hate to see a warranty voided over something, sure it's different because it's a 40 dollar controller vs a 400 dollar console, but still I'd hate to lose a controller.

A direct recharging option for the Wii Remote has not yet been revealed. According to an interview with Nintendo industrial designer Lance Barr, limitations of the Wii Remote's expansion port make it unlikely that it will be used for internal battery charging
