Wifi signal strength acting up? (iPod touch 2nd gen 3.0)?

Whenever and wherever, every wireless network that pops up on my iPod has negative wifi strength values. It does let me connect but I dunno if the number is closer to 0, that means it's better or worse since all the values are all messed up. Not a big time issue but something that'd be nice if fixed
