Wifi problems: my router or N95

When I try to download a podcast that is around 30mb to my N95 using my home wifi it will start downloading and then stop after a few minutes. If I cancel the download and re start it will go again for a few minutes.

Is there any way to adjust the wifi settings on N95? With some old PPCs I had you could make adjustments regarding battery saving, etc. which would improve the wifi signal.

Do you think I might just have a problem with home wifi? I doubt it because I use it with my laptops, xbox360, etc.

Thanks for responding.

I'm having similar problems with my n95 and wifi. I think it's part n95, part software. I've tried three programs to get podcasts with these results.

Nokia Podcast App -- nice features, but downloads often stop many times during download via wifi. Also, the download is the slowest of these three apps. Seems like it's optimized for non-wifi connections(i.e. edge, etc...).

Resco News -- faster download speed for podcasts, still downloads stop for some reason here and there. Uses a ton of memory it seems.

Nokia Web browser -- fastest download speed for podcasts, the download almost always works. A little clunky, doesn't seem to know where to pass vidcasts.

Hope this helps...

Try using s60SpotOn when you're downloading large files over wifi. I was having a similar problem last night downloading a large file through Symtorrent. It seems like the screensaver will mess around with connections or something. I don't know if this is the same problem, but it's worth a shot.
