I own a small business where an employee would go into a customer's home with a barcode scanner and a laptop. Once items are scanned the scanner is attached to the laptop and the software goes to the internet to retrieve current pricing information. I don't want to use the customer's internet and WiFi may not be readily available. What are my best/cheapest options? 3 or 4G usb modem? MiFi? FiveSpot? Pay as you go? Contract? Thanks in advance.
