wifi charge on t-mobile without data plan?

I've received SOOO many mixed messages from t-mobile about this.

I have a Samsung Behold 2, but I do not have a data plan--I have no data allotment whatsoever in my plan. I have been told by 2 t-mobile customer service representatives that I would be charged for using wifi even though it has nothing to do with the phone network. I have ALSO been told by 2 other reps that I would NOT be charged.

Has anybody else tried the same thing? (wifi without a data plan)? I have also been told that blackberries are a special case and are the only ones who can do that. Help!

You won't be charged. It's your Wi-Fi network that T-Mobile doesn't cover so I don't see why you would be charged.
