For a couple of years now I have been getting a problem. What feels like a gland in my neck around the throat area becomes painful at times. It can hurt when swallowing but thats not really the issue. When its at its worst I can only describe it as a headache in my neck/throat area. This can last from a few days to a few weeks, sometimes you will feel sick and run down and other times you feel normal. Once it goes away it is replaced with a bout of dizzyness (on a boat sensation) which can last anything from one to several weeks. I have learned to deal with this over the last couple of years but its starting to bug me again. I have seen a doctor several times about this, but all they ever say is, we cant see anything, come back if it gets worse. (UK docotors for you) I have been to see an ear specialist as I assumed the dizzyness was related to that however their examination showed no problems with better then average hearing. I also suffer from headaches which tend to last around a week at a time every month or so, but this is not really a concearn since i have always suffered them as far back as i can rememeber. My main concearn is the throat or gland in the neck followed by the dizzyness. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to go from here to find out the cause? Thanks in advance.
