Wi-Fi sd cards

Hello,

Just curious,
I know that the PalmOne sd Wi-Fi card is available ($129.00US)!
I noticed that there are a lot of other brands out there.
Anyone actually used the sandisk wifi card(or others),
and had success with their T5 model?

First, there is no wifi card yet available for the T5. The PalmOne card right now only works with the Zire 72 and T3. Sandisk's wifi card only works with the Zire 71. PalmOne is "working" on a wifi card for the T5 but you'll never be able to get a wifi card for the T5 from any place else but Palm One. They have made sure thay haven't shared any of the hardware information needed to make standard SIDO wifi card work and even Sandisk has stated they've given up trying to reverse engineer a card for the T5.

Well if anyone hears anything about a card in the works for the T5 hopefully they can let everyone know.

well I answered my own question,

you purchase the same card that works with the T3
and go to palm.com and have a look in their support
department.
There is a driver to adapt the T5.

But it looks like Palm is the only one with a working card.
 
The palmOne WiFi card has worked with the T|5 since Nov. 29th 2004.

I guess you figured this out on your own.

You can also find the palmOne WiFi card for a lot less than $129 at different online stores. You should find it for more like $90.
