WI-FI on my Nokia 5800 XPRESSMUSIK????? :) Thanks!?

I just got my moms old phone which is a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. On my plan I don't have internet or 3G, but since my new phone is a smartphone, I was wondering if I have wi-fi at my house can I access facebook and myspace from my phone without having internet on my plan?
