hi guys i just bought the wi-.fi card for my T3 ,so far ,everything is pretty cool the only problem i've encountered is that the battery i giving me just 30 min of continues usage, with the energy saving on,my question is for those who have got the card.how long are u being given before running out of time and if there's a way to improve the battery performance

thanks
daniel

I have it and I use it mostly at home with my wireless network.
Yes the wifi card is a hog.
W/o doing any damage to your t3, you should think of getting the battery sled .. I think its 50 dollars. I use the sled when I surf and also whenever I need to charge my t3 and have no outlets around to charge the palm.
It is handy. Check palm one or any stores that carries palm accesories.
Hope this helps

When you use the card the drain from the battery is higher, and the puny T3 battery can't keep up the voltage while this goes on. Remove the current drain and the voltage pops back up a bit. However, I think the card adjusts its transmission power dynamically, which means that if you could get closer to the access point the battery load should go down. At least it seemed to help a lot when the wireless conditions in my office were improved. Or maybe it's just that the card could negotiate a higher speed because of the improved signal, and thus I didn't have to stay online as long as before which would also help the battery :-)

palmrocks, 30 minutes with the Palm WiFi card is about it. I use it with my T3 at local coffee houses to retrieve and send email, update my AvantGo, and very limited web surfing (like checking the winning lottery numbers, etc.) Shortly after getting my WiFi card and discovering its power drain on my T3, I bought a Palm PowerToGo (which is good for about 4-5 full recharges) and also have both a car charger and a travel charger. The WiFi power situation has become tolerable.
