K Kimber New member Apr 5, 2010 #2 I ran into a store for about 10 minutes. When I came out, someone had tied a long, thin yellow rope to the back passenger-side rim of my car. Why would someone do that? The other end of the rope was not attached to anything.

M mycoldfeet New member Apr 5, 2010 #3 bet it was limited parking there, and tow trucks are hired to tow those that are parked too long, they do that to 20 or 30 cars then start at the beginning and the 20 min are up, all those that haven't moved are fair game.
