Why would someone say Drunken Monkey Kung-Fu isn't a real martial art form?

I have studied Drunken monkey kung-fu for 22 yrs. now, It is very much an actual martial art form. Leung Ting wrote a book about it, and it has pictures for all you ignorant people out there. The information posted on this subject is not all accurate. And the guy in the YouTube link is performing a variation of the drunken monkey form, but not all his movements are accurate. It isn't a hard form to learn, it is how ever one of the shortest martial arts forms in martial arts. There are refferences to the monkey fist ( which isn't a fist at all ), there are no punches within the drunken monkey form. It is a ground fighting form, you take your opponant from the waist down. It may look odd, but it is effective if used correctly. Bruce Lee said it best though, no one style is the best. No form is the best form. Learn what you need from other styles and put all the useful parts together, be practical, don't waste movements. I think Bruce Lee nailed it for us all. So I practice my drunken monkey freestyle, instead of going by the traditional form. But you must learn the correct form befor you go freestyle everyone. Hopefuly people don't listen to the ignorance of some on here. God bless you and thank you for reading.
