I love peacock-inspired art and decor, and am frequently looking on Craigslist and Ebay for interesting things for sale. I hadn't realized that you could buy an actual peacock. One is for sale for only $45! Why would you buy one? At a few places I've seen peacocks roaming the grounds to add beauty, but I don't know an individual would buy one. I live in LA. There aren't really a lot of farms around for them or anything.
They aren't harmed, are they? I mean, please tell me people don't actually eat them or anything. Do people keep them as pets?
