why would ppl major in history, philosophy, sociology, etc?

its so retarded. why would ppl major in stuff like that. theres no pay for stuff like that. how wud they support themselves? only girls major in stuff like that since they just end up marrying a rich guy anyway
 
For some people money is not as important as doing what you like...Some history majors want to be history teachers or just work at a place that require people that know about history...Philosophy majors are people who enjoy thinking a lot, I don't think they care about money as much as a rich mind....I don't think is retarded at all to major in whatever you like....money is not everything in life...what is important is to live a happy life...as long as they have a job to live a decent and happy life is nothing wrong with that...You sound very materialistic and superficial...I understand why you find philosophy majors retarded...
