periods to 3 days + black blood? I've had a regular 26 day long cycle for about 3 years. It's so regular I could set my clock by it pretty much. It even comes the same time of day. Before that it was regular, but I was on the pill. I normally get a week of bleeding with heavy flow on the first 2 days, medium for 3 then light for 2 with a little bit of brown blood either end. However, the last two have only lasted for 3 days - 1 or 2 days of super heavy and one of just spotting. I've always had bad cramps - I have primary dysmenorrhea - but they are normally only bad for the first day but now they've gone to some cramping for a couple days before and then bad cramping for the 2 heavy days. It was so heavy this time, the blood actually looked not brown but black. Plus the first was early, the second was late. What is this?? I'm assuming it's hormonal as my boobs have randomly started growing too?
