...once every 6 or 7 months? Well my truck has always been reliable for a very long time but i notice this starting happening last year and usually during winter or cold weather, I bought it in 2002 and it has turned on with out any problems during winter/ summer until last year 2009 in winter i got inside the truck and tried turning the engine on but it would not turn on just crank for 3 seconds then i would just let it sit for a minute, then crank again for 3 seconds and nothing, then the 3rd time is when it starts up in less than a second. Then, during summer of 2010 i never had a problem until now october it has been Little chilly now in illinois and it happen to me yesterday, i went inside so i can go to the mall and i turn the key to start but all it did was crank the engine but did not start, then the second time it finally started very very quick. What might be the issue here? its a 5.7 v8.
