I'm a girl and I have been dating someone for almost 6 months now. A couple night ago, he was showing me pictures of a guy friend of his who had recently visited him. He talked about how many girls his friend had been with (45 apparently), showed me pics and said things like "what do you think? He's like 5'9". He just looks short in that pic". Talking about his friend is one thing. Showing me pictures and asking what I think is odd to me. Why do you think he did this?

I think it's odd because I don't know his friend at all. I didn't understand why he would ask me for my opinion. It's just something that doesn't make sense to me. But if it's because he's insecure, then I get it. I told him 45 is a lot and that's about all I said.
