My ex calls me 2 weeks after he breaks up with me. Day after he breaks up with me he is still calling me gorgeous. After breaking up with me he's calling me gorgeous. Now 2 weeks later I get a text from him: "hey". An hour later he is calling me. I noticed he had text/called when he did it but I was so tired I just rolled over and went back to sleep. I figured if what he had to say was important he should leave me a voicemail message. He didn't.
Next day I text him:
"Hi. You called me yesterday? Why did you call?"
He responds:
"Nothing. Nevermind."
I say:
"Oh okay ??"
He then says:
"I was just going to ask you a question but it's ok I forget what it was now". (keep in mind it's only been 18 hours since he'd called)
I told him:
"I just went to bed early yesterday". (so he wouldn't think I just blew him off)
He said:
"It's ok"
Then finally I'm feeling lost so I said:
"It's okay... because you broke up with me. But I'm confused. Next time you call you can leave me a voicemail message or something. Maybe I'll talk to you later. Right now I'm gonna take a nap."
Sidenote- I've been having migraines recently, really bad ones. Not sure if I came across as "mean" but I don't see why he would call then not explain to me why he called... and try to play it off like he doesn't remember why he did it. When I kind of got the impression he was just mad or irritated, something, that I hadn't picked up the phone when he'd called me.
A couple days later I don't hear from him. He's taken me off his top friends on websites, finally. But an ex of his was saying "why am I not on your top friends jerk........" so he takes me off and puts her on there in the last possible spot. And she broke up with him, cheated on him, didn't have a reason to get mad at him for her not being on his stupid top friends when she doesn't even have him on hers.
I just don't get it... and it all sounds like High School drama, I am well- aware, but does anyone seriously have any clue/opinion as to why he is acting this way?
