Why would a gay man be asked to judge a womens beauty contest?

I understand why women judge other women...they have something to compare to. And straight men are obvious judges. A lesbian would make a good judge. But a gay man...I don't get it. It's like asking a vegan to judge a BBQ rib contest.

Any other reason besides that I think Perez is tapping Trump???
And what "merits" are they being judged by? It's a BEAUTY contest...did you see any fattys there?
Aren't those of you in favor of this just advancing the stereotypes of homosexuals? Saying that they are fashion experts, dress well, and are eccentric...you are promoting a stereotype of them that I don't think all of them would be happy with.

Yes...I have. The ones I know would be considered very "manly". The aren't your description of gay men and they hate that stereotype.

You know, most gay men are very eccentric, have wonderful taste, fun to be around and have an eye for fashion.....You better get with the program!..... These guys can beat any woman dressing, trust me on that!......
