Why would a Chevy 6.5 diesel engine be difficult to start again after warming up?

Truck is a little difficult to start from cold, but after running for a while and shutting it off it is almost impossible to start. We have replaced the fuel injection pump and several sensors, but it still does the same thing. Any ideas?
