Why won't WLM recognize Adobe Flash Player?

I've done a fresh install of Vista 64. Downloaded Firefox 3.5, installed Flash 10 from the Adobe site, reboot, installed WLM 8.5, reboot. Now, each time I open a chat window, WLM is telling me to install Flash, but I have. It says I can't use the winks/nudges without and I'm able to regardless. No observable problems with the Flash plugin in Firefox.

Any ideas?
