what u need is some dvd playing software (such as apple quicktime) that can play almost anything. second, if u don't hav it built into your hard rive, u hav to buy a computer dvd player. you can buy one for like 20 dollars from an electronics store. all u do is buy it, install it, and plug it into your computer. then you put your dvd into the player and it will play on your computer. you can tell if your computer plays dvds or not by looking at where you would put the cd in. if it says something like cd rewritable and rom, then you hav to buy a player. if it says dvd on it, then you don't
