why won't this html code work?

<big> is not supported by all browsers.

Use something like this instead:
<p style="font-weight:bold; font-size:1.5em;">JAMIE</p>

* Adjust the font size as necessary
 
okay now i wanna use this code;

<big><big><big><big><big><big><b>JAMIE.</b></big></big></big></big></big></big>

i put that on my myspace page it it was the same size as all my other letters//words//whatever. haha

i think i'm missing something.
now see, that's the only thing i put, i didn't put like anything to make it work, and i can't find anything that would.

help?[:
also, it says after all the <big>jamie..
i put all the < /big>'s. the same number of <big>'s i had.(:
also, i put this in my ABOUT ME.
im not trying to make my myspace name bigger.
but that would work too, if i can't figure this out. haha
