Why won't they make Sports Champions online compatible?

I understand that they make downloadable patches to improve games on PS3? So why don't they do that with Sports Champions. Is there something about the software I'm not understanding? I mean, come on. We all know that would make disc golf a shiz-ton of fun. Imagine it: leader boards, tournaments, trash talk, leagues. Man, wouldn't that be a blast??????????//
