why wont sidekick lx wont sign in?

one morning my kick says I need to sign it and it won't let me and there's a money icon on the main menu and I already refilled it. When I try to sign in it says data services are unavailable. To avoid loss of data backup and resume data services please purchase a refill card and then sign in. but before i didnt refill my account . it used to be $0 and data service was still on. and i still see ppl with $0 and they still got data
