Why won't she let him talk to me?

I made friends with a guy I worked with about five years ago. That's all we ever were, FRIENDS. He is married and his wife and I are really different. She is really quiet and monotone whereas I am loud and outgoing. We've never really clicked the few times we've met because of that reason. Now she won't let him talk to me. We're just friends. I know she is probably a little insecure, but how can I make her see that I have no interest in her husband? I have a boyfriend of my own who I love more than anything.
