Why won't Nokia Ovi Suite won't accept my phone?

I've recently acquired a Nokia N97 Mini, and have installed the Nokia Ovi Suite that came with the phone onto my computer, and when I try and connect my Nokia, it says 'The device is no it PC Suite mode', when I have set the phone in PC Suite. How can I fix it?
