why won't neither assassins creed nor prototype play on my windows vista

business laptop? I have downloaded both assassins's creed and prototype for pc on my windows vista business laptop, but neither of them work.Thety are installed properly.They just say that it has stopped working and windows will notify you if a solution to the problenm is found. I have re-installed them numerous times but it just says the same thing evertime i try to play them. How do i get them to play.
