Why won't my suzuki LT-F4WDX King Quad 280cc fourwheeler start up?

Occasionally if I hold down the starter and push the throttle a little bit for about 2 minutes, I will get it to start... but even then it won't idle without shutting off. I have already tried draining the carb, getting new gas, and changing the spark plug. What could be the problem?

I have one exactly the same, have tried new fuel, cleaning the carb, checking spark, ect. I got it to run for about 2 minutes by heating the cylinder block but it was very rough and eventually stopped almost like ignition timing is wrong but you can't adjust it!!!

Would love to know the answer, if I do find out I'll post back
