Why won't my radio turn on? (2001 Lexus GS 300)

My radio has suddenly not been turning on. It was working fine yesterday, then this morning when I was leaving for work, it would not turn on at all. No noise, no sparks, no static, no lights. Just silence.

I heard that some dealerships can give you a code to turn it back on, but I am completely car-ignorant. HELP PLEASE!
