My puppy whines all the time.. I never know why? I let her go outside and she has food and water, why does she whine?? I don't understand? It is so irritating.

The answer will rely mostly on how old the puppy is. If it's really young it may miss it's mother. Put a clock where it sleeps maybe that'll help.

If it is older and you want the puppy to stop whining, we did this with our dog. Leave it be until it stops whining, when it stops and is quiet for a few minutes...then give the dog attention. If you give the dog attention whenever it whines, it's going to keep whining b/c you gave the dog a power.

My dog hardly every barks now, and only whines when she she needs to go outside or needs food. Good Luck with whatever you choose, it's hard to get through, but it'll be worth it in the end!

well maybe she doeant get enough attention from you... i dont know if this is true... but give her lots of love

if they scratch they might have fleas
depending on the breed they might feel that u r not with them enough of the time - ask your breeder or the person you got your puppy from, they're uslually helpful

How old is the puppy? If it about 2 months and you just got it then it probaly just misses the store clients, or its mother. So play with the dog give it some attention. Wait for a couple more days and it will get used to you, and the whining should stop. The puppy is not sick beacause you mentioned that it is eating and drking well.

give her alot of attention and maybe some treats once in a while and walk her around the block or the yard or somthing so u will be with the thing..

Did the whining happen all of a sudden? Or has your puppy always whined? I ask this, because your puppy may need to see a vet. Your puppy may have hurt itself and may need medical attention.

Maybe she just wants to play or be pet?
Some dogs are just more vocal than others.

When she whines, pay attention to her and see if she does anything in particular like paw at her ear or something. She might be in pain.
