why wont my ps2 play the ps1 game Simpsons Wrestling.?

I have a the original ps2 model and it will play all other ps1 and ps2 games I have,only one doesn't work though and that's Simpsons Wrestling, It doesn't have any major scratches and I've wiped the disk with a wipe before playing. Keep in mind this is the only game in my collection that doesn't work.

any info would be great.
