Actually I'm not a strict vegan but I'm following rules that go back awhile, before the modern food industry changed and put all sorts of crap into foods, so I only bother with big stuff not all the little things. If it says milk, I'm not eating it, if it says all sorts of chemical crap I eat whatever I like. But anyway most my foods aren't prepacked or are pure without the crap, it's healthier too.

When I was a teen, my parents cooked, when I grew up and moved out nearby I cooked myself. They never ever expressed any dislike but are very willing to help me out. But whenever I ask my parents to try my food, they'd always say no, they won't even eat one bite, saying they have their own and it's my food. It can't be my food choices - not like all of it is different, oh and they do eat tofu just like me - they often cook this dish with spicy tofu, meat and mushrooms. I cook similar just skip the meat and add veggies. And they can always eat their own meat and add my vegetable dish. Also they go to vegetarian restaurants with me and eat the food there. But why won't they eat what I cook?? I'm not a bad cook, other people have tried mine and liked it.
