Why won't my Nokia 5530 let me send texts?

I have a Nokia 5530 xpressmusic but it wont let me send texts. i have tried but it keeps saying resend at 2.13pm then it says resend at 2.16pm. its really annoying can anybody help?
and yes i have unlimited texts
