Everytime we go somewhere, even if she's not paying, she refuses to go in the drive thru, she always makes someone else go inside the store and buy the food. It's so annoying. Why won't she go through drive thrus?

Maybe she is worried that the quick pace of the drive-thru might lead to more mistakes. Or she just doesn't feel like ordering the food herself.
Actually it's better to go in the drive-thru because all the freshest chicken/meat/condiments go there because the drive-thru is first priority. Also the service is faster and you don't even have to get out of your car.
