why won't my kart move on mario kart for pc? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE?

Whenever i start to race the kart won't move.
is it because when i go on options than configure controller plugin
for game device it says none or something?
 
that is probably your problem your computer isn't reading your controller. so you might want to get it checked out or get a new one
