Hey everyone. My friend thought it would funny to take off with my 1992 jeep wrangler yj but when he went to start it, it was in first gear and he did not push the clutch in. He kept the key turned for about five seconds and stopped after i screamed at him. If the car is pop started it runs like new with no problems but when you try to start it using the key the starter will click and then nothing else happens. I replaced the starter and solenoid so i am truly stumped on what the problem is. Someone please answer asap, i have to repair this to commute to a job very soon.
