Why wont my iphone get past the apple logo?!!?

I got facebook on my iphone. I tried to log out but it wont let me so i decided to delete facebook and install it again. While loading it stuck on install. I turned off the iphone and turned it back on.it was on low battery so it showed the low battery thing. i went to recharge it and it showed up the apple logo. It kept showing the logo for 10 min then goes back to the low battery thing. It was still in the recharger. It goes back to the apple logo for 10 mins and goes back to the battery (still in the recharger). I pulled out the recharger and saw the thunder shape thing pointing to the plug(normal) i putted the recharger back in and does the process all over again. I dont want to erase all my memory!
