removed and cleaned the carbs. Bike starts and only stays on for a couple seconds with the choke on then quits. BACKFIRES CONSTANTLY!!! when i give it more gas NOTHING HAPPENS? WHAT CAN IT BE?
does nothing and just keeps running LUMPY
no i didn't play with any mixture screws just cleaned all the parts real good.
P.s. how do I answer the guys question below i do not see a option for that? lol

GLAD IM GETTING OUT THERE!!!! well the pilot screw, the main jet, the float needle, the bowl ect.. is what i cleaned and made sure all the passages were open after getting all the gunk out. i did the whole bottem of the carb. the screws were too tight up on the top part of the carb. i would have stripped em to get the top off. ya its a cv type carb. the bike is a 1984 HONDA VF750S.
