While I was shopping for school supplies, I found a headset microphone and because my computer's built in microphone kinda stunk, i bought it. Now, i'm trying to record my voice with it on my computer but nothing happens. I plugged in everything correctly. The headphones work, i can hear sound but when i try to record sound with it, nothing happens. I don't know why this is happening. I just bought this like 2 hours ago. If it'll help, i'll tell you my computer and headphone model. I have a G60-445DX laptop, and a GE VoIP All-in-One Headset.
There was nothing else in the box,just the headset and the cables. Also, how do I know if my laptop can support my headset?
