I just turned 13 a few days ago, am going into 8th grade, get good grades, do what my dad tells me to do, do well playing the piano and oboe, etc., etc. and my dad still won't let me have a phone!!! I told him that over half the people in my class of 21 has a phone (12 people). I am in a youth symphony playing the oboe so I could call him when I need him to pick me up from practice and stuff like that. He said, "Just borrow somebody else's phone!" It's so embarrassing to ask other people though. He says I can get a phone when I turn 14 in 362 days. AHH! Oh my gosh... It's driving me NUTS! How can I convince him that I can get a phone when I'm still 13? Please help?!?!
