My mom has a 2000 Chrysler Sebring 2.5L. She was driving it and it just died. It's getting plenty fuel to the engine, but doesn't seem to be getting any fire past the distributor cap. We have changed the cap, rotary button, crank shaft position sensor, but it still won't start. We have done/checked everything we know to check, but can not get it to start. Some out there has to be able to shed some light on the problem, and it her only means of transportation. Please!! lol Thanks
we have checked the fuel pump, and the fuel rail in the motor. took the fuel rail off, turned the key, and getting plenty fuel to the engine. The engine will crank, just won't turn over.. could it be the Distributor itself?
Mardinh: we have basically checked everything you listed...still no fire coming past the distributor cap. seems as though it makes it to the cap, but no farther. where is the timing located? not sure on this car
