I have a 94 Ford Probe GT and two of the spark plug wires on the front of the engine are busted. They have been semi fixed but as soon as we did what we could to it, the car started to stall in park and want to cut off. The engine started to shake and so did the car. Once it cut off once, we tried to cut it on again and this time give it a little gas. It is suppose to have the highest grade fuel in it, but lately I have decided that the other is just as good. From a sorce I have heard that you aren't suppose to use the lowest grade when it reccommends premium. We then put octane booster in the gas to hope that would make it better bc we thought that it may have been the problem to begin with. Still not the problem. Will not cut on and it likes to act like the batery is dead, but has some spark to it. What could possibly be wrong?

First replace the wires with new ones. You are losing spark to your cylinders. A complete change of spark plugs and wires would probably do wonders for your car. be sure to ask the vendor for the spark plug gap and buy a little guage to gap it properly. The fuel has little to do with it. It should burn both fuels efficiently. The battery is another problem altogether. does it crank the engine ? How long have you had the battery ? Does it click once or multiple times ? Is the alternator charging the battery ? You could have a problem with the battery if it's old and does not retain a charge. It has to do more than run your radio, light up your lights etc. Clean you battery cables. Remove all the white acid that forms on the positive post and cable with some baking soda and water. Make sure you have a good connection. If you charge the battery or replace it with a know good battery, and it just clicks once. it is probably a bad starter which you need to replace.

Get the wires replaced, and it sounds like one of your sensor messed up. You might try disconnecting the battery for a minute then try. If it don't work. Take it to autozone see which sensor is bad.

Replace your spark plug wires.
And, make sure they're hooked up to the right spark plugs.
