why wont my burned cd play in my car stereo?

i've burned a cd from itunes which plays in my home cd player but not in my car cd player. i've had other cd's made by others which play in my car so dont know why they aren't playing. the disc's i'm using as CD-RW's but i've noticed the other ones are CD-R's. does this make any difference?? pls help, this is stressing me out big time!!!
 
Ive had the same problem with the cd player in my truck and have noticed it depends on what program i burn them with.
 
CD RWs are much less likely to work than CD R but as i said before "Some car head units just are not capable of this and some will work with some blank media brands and not with others."
