Why won't my betta fish eat?

I recently got my betta, Momus, from Walmart after my angelfish died. He was fine and happy, I have him in a gallon tank, until Christman when I get an actual tank, and he was eating fine, and on a good schedule.

Recently though, he will only eat dried blood worms. I've been feeding him pellets, and he was eating them fine, but he just stopped eating them. He'll take them in his mouth, then spit them out, like he doesn't have any teeth.

Any help?

Try crushing the pellets to a smaller size/letting them soak a bit in water before you feed them.
