No previous problems, then overnite it will not crank. When I turn the ignition key as to crank, a constant ticking sound happens. The radio, fan, horn etc, appear to be working fine. I tried to jump it off, with no success. HELP!!!. : (

A number of factor could be at play.
1. Your battery sounds like it is too low. It has enough juice to to run radio, lights etc (temporarily) but not to crank it.

2. First check the battery post and make sure they are clean. It not it could prevent/interview from jumping as well as recharging as you run it.

3. I suggest buying a new battery (also have the alternator and belt checked). If your alternator belt is loose then it will not charge/rebuild the battery to pre-start levels. One sure sign of loose fan belt is when you step hard on the gas and you hear a screeching sound.

Anyway, it is not a major money matter and simple to correct.
Good Luck.

its probably, your starter, alternator or battery, best best is to take the battery first to auto zone and tell you wether or not the battery is good or not, if its good but just need it to be charged its cause the alternator is going bad or its probably the starter.
