Dirty or corroded battery cable clamp. Could also be your starter on the way out. The solenoid may have burned contacts that intermittently make a good connection.

My truck wouldnt start one morning so I checked the terminals and the positive was loose so I tightened it and jump started it and it worked all day. Come next day it didnt want to start again so I exchanged the battery with my other vehicles battery and it started but as soon as I turned it off and restarted it it didnt start again. When I put the battery back in my other vehicle it started right up, so i figured that it was not the battery. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

it could be the alternator or the starter relay system. i would take it to a shop and have them test it. usually it is free to test your alternator and starter.
