First off I know that my problem is I bought a chrysler, but heres my problem. I just bought a 01 sebring less than a month ago and my factory installed remote start works fine, also the anti theft system seems to function normally until this morning. I cant start the car with the remote or the key, the only way to get it started is to get in and push the door lock switch down twice and then the engine starts automatically. I know that I have to put the key in the ignition to disengage the anti theft before I can drive off but now the engine dies as soon as I put my foot on the brake. I've tried using both sets of keys and remotes in various ways with the doors unlocked, locked, doors open, closed, keys in, keys out etc and the engine dies as soon as a put my foot on the brake EVERY TIME. Any serious help is appreciated thank you. In case anyone is wondering, Yes there is gas in the car and no it does not die off on its own.
