For the past few weeks my escort has been turning off as I would slow to a corner. It would start back up right away. The "check coolant" light came on about 7 days ago. It only came on for a few hours and would shut off. Yesterday, it stayed on all day. We checked the coolant. It was fine. We put a new battery in. It would still die. But, it did run a bit better.
This morning when I turned the key the seat belt (automated) went up only 1/4 of the way and the car would not turn over. It did not click. Nothing... everything just dead dead dead.
