why wont i be able to bluetooth things to my Apple Mac Book Pro?

I'm trying to bluetooth images from my Nokia 5310 xpress music and when ever i try a bluetooth it it says bluetooth connection failed.
is there any settings i need to change? or is it my phone?
and my macs a 13" one
